Waking up is the series of events where a person comes to realize the inter relatedness and oneness of all things.
Ken Wilber, noted psychoanalyst, mystic, and philosopher, says that the awakened life has four steps: waking up, cleaning up, growing up, and showing up.
Waking up is the series of events where a person comes to realize the inter relatedness and oneness of all things. The self is realized as a descriptive narrative used by Source to experience differing aspects of Itself. What was once a sense of personal self is replaced by Source.
Cleaning up is the process of surrendering all aspects of physical life and placing it under Source’s control. The drama of the ego-personality is questioned and sublimated by source so that its mental and emotional states correctly support the work of Source. Negativity, in all of its forms, is reduced, or replaced altogether, by calmness, and an understanding that Source is arranging all that is necessary for daily living.
Growing up is a process of living a new Source driven life. It is gaining the wisdom and knowledge necessary to think, say and do everything from a Source perspective. It is the maturation process that occurs once the ego-personality is operating in its proper support function for source.
Showing up is how one presents themselves to the world. It is doing one’s chosen work as a Source realized person and impacting the world as Source directs.
